So it’s true I was broke but I was never poor okay and this is the difference. I had knowledge, I had courage and I had action. Those are the three elements I teach everybody in my course everybody who takes amazon mastery. To grab a mastery I had the ability to acquire all the knowledge that I needed without spending a dollar. I opened up the yellow pages, I started calling, sure a big group of people said go away kid, good group of people said I want a huge amount of money which I didn’t have but then there were the few that helped me and that either weren’t expecting anything back or were willing to take it on a deferred basis okay and I did this using influence. I was able to sit down with them to build rapport, to build a relationship to show them that I could potentially succeed with what my plans were and when you’re young and you have nothing to lose and you have this air of hustle about you, I mean real grit. I don’t mean the hustle that we see on instagram with the dudes on the yachts and the helicopters and the girls with the little arrow bikinis pointing to you know all the all their parts.

I’m talking about like real hustle, real grit if you see somebody who’s really hungry there’s something about them. It’s very hard for people to say no to that. Yeah, we eat out often and weed out outside and sometimes you know these kids will come and they’re selling candy bars or whatever and sometimes I’ll just give them a few bucks just to help them out but oftentimes I’ll just say no thank you and they go away but every once in a while I see one of them that you can just tell you know his candy box is empty and he is not taking no for an answer and you can you can smell it on it. You can smell not desperation but grit, relentlessness, the ability to stock future success and not let up until you get it. It’s that the same smell that a predator senses when it’s going after prey. If you go after success like that, it’s very difficult for people to say no to you and I had that when I was young. When I was young, I didn’t have any money. Yeah I was broke but I was never poor.
